Marketplace Fee
The marketplace fee is a small service fee applied to winning auctions. It allows bidders to purchase rare coins and bullion directly from sellers while supporting a secure, peer-to-peer auction experience.
This bidder-supported model keeps selling completely free for sellers, while giving bidders access to competitive pricing, scarce numismatic items, and a constantly updated selection of sought-after coins and bullion.
The marketplace fee is paid by the winning bidder at checkout via credit card (Stripe) directly to Rare Coins Auction. This fee is separate from the auction’s winning price, which is paid directly to the seller after the marketplace fee has been processed.
